White Soap Base contains glycerin, is white in color, and provides color permanence even after high temperatures over a long period of time. As its name suggests, this product simply needs to be melted to a liquid and poured into a soap tray of your choice. It can be formulated with essential or fragrance oils, molded as desired, and colorings may be added to create a wide range of unique soap bar products. Melt and pour soap bases containing glycerin have great foaming capabilities and leave the skin feeling soft and nourished. Usage: A two-pound brick can make between 10 - 20 soaps, depending on the size of the soap you’re trying to make. Directions: Determine amount of melt and pour soap base needed for your project. Carefully slice soap base into small pieces and place in microwave safe container. Heat on low at 30 second intervals. Stir between intervals until liquid. Handle hot soap carefully as it may burn the skin. Soap can also be melted in a double boiler. Stir in cosmetic color, cosmetic scent, and skin safe additives. Pour into a mold. Spritz soap surface with rubbing alcohol to remove bubbles. Allow to cool until hard. Remove from mold and wrap with airtight plastic wrap. Your newly created melt and pour soap is now ready to use.
