In the pages of this book we have shown technique, discussed principles, and introduced philosophy. However, these are the legs which the art stands upon. The art is more than this. In one way, the art is a pure essence that cannot be diluted or changed by any practitioner; anything appearing diluted or changed is simply not the art. In a seemingly contradictory, yet equally truthful way, the art is the compilation of every warrior who has taken part in it and contributed to it. For those who have become one with it, the art has manifested itself into their spirit, their families, their lives. We call these warriors our Family.
